The "Amici di Milano Classica" Association was founded in 2002 to support the musicians' cooperative which runs the orchestra. The Milano Classica has become deeply rooted within the regional cultural establishment in over fifteen years of activity. The mission of the association is to promote and support the work of the orchestra. It has over 80 members. At this time of severe curtailment of available public funding, we would like to appeal to private citizens to support Milano Classica and its music program. Becoming a member of the association means contributing to the dissemination of musical culture not only in Milan, but also in the wider regional area, in Italy, and abroad, a constructive collaboration aiming at promoting classical music, both well known masterpieces as well as lesser known works.
